Working on the outside of this crazy little house. This last weekend, we planted 8 burning bush shrubs, (we have 6 more to plant along the side that we haven't gotten to yet) daisies, black eyed susans, lobelias and petunias. And yes, I know I need to power wash the siding. I promise we'll get to it! We've also been working like crazy people on our vegetable garden. The tomatoes are planted, but we still need to plant our onions, beans, squash and peppers. I'm still trying to talk Nate out of planting zucchini. I'm sick of it!
I have just recently been called to work in the Young Women's program in our ward. I was a little worried at first, but I've discovered that the youth in our ward are wonderful kids. My class (the Mia Maids) are sweet girls, they participate in class, and they are super nice to me and to each other. I can't go to camp since I've got all these little kids, but I am working hard helping prepare for it. Lots of meetings, and lots of creativity flowing. The girls are going to have a lot of fun!
My cute little sister in law is getting married the end of June, and I am working on invitations for her bridal shower. Not done yet, but they're coming together nicely.
