Stress, Much?

I officially have too much on my plate. I thought that I would share this little tidbit of information with all of you. And in light of the fact that I am so tired (and a little bit sick) that I slept in until 10:30 am this morning, I thought I would post a little something that was read to us in Relief Society a few weeks back:

Why LDS Women Stress
As Latter Day Saint women, we are practically obsessed with engaging ourselves in good causes. Maybe its subliminal.
Glancing through the hymnal last Sunday I noted that as Sisters in Zion, we who are called to serve, are all enlisted to go marching marching forward because the world has need of willing men, to all press on scattering sunshine. We wonder if we have done any good in the world today because we have been given much and want to do what is right, keep the commandments, press forward with the Saints, choose the right, and put our shoulders to the wheel going where he wants us to go. However, as the morning breaks high on the mountain top, truth reflects upon our senses, and while we still believe that sweet is the work, we also realize that we have work enough to do ere the sun goes down.
And thus we ask thee ere we part, where can we turn for peace?

Do Not Disturb

After a rough day of play and preschool, Ben laid down in front of the tv to watch a favorite movie, and promptly passed out. His lips totally kill me. And I'm kicking myself, because I didn't take a picture of his feet: one shoe on, and one shoe off. That's my boy!

The Artiste

Sometimes it is hard for Sylvia when Ben goes off to preschool. She waves him off each day, and has this kind of desperate, morose look in her eyes. It is easy to see that she is worried that she won't be able to fill the time until her brother comes home. Today was one such day, so I asked her if there was anywhere special she'd like to go. And of course, she asked to go to the dollar store! We picked up a little art set for her to work on while Ben is away. This girl loves to paint, draw, color-basically anything artistic. She is so much fun!

A Little Something for Grandma & Grandpa

Nate taught the kidlets this little ditty, and I think everyone will enjoy. Take a listen:
