Blogging from Nate's iPad on this breezy May day...kinda weird. I don't play on this toy much! Anyway, June is just around the corner, and I have been seeing lots of people starting their Summer to-do lists. I LOVE lists, so this is right up my alley. So, what to add to the list, that meets my criteria of being cheap, fun, and somewhat pregnancy-friendly? Let's see.
Cheap Summer kid movies at the Spanish 8 Theater
Do All the fun stuff for kids during Springville's Art City Days (parade, carnival, etc.)
Buy a Slip 'n Slide. Use said Slip 'n Slide
Ride bikes. (maybe not me, though. I tend to fall off bikes)
Take a ride over the Alpine Loop
Visit the Aquarium and the Dinosaur Museum
Picnics in the backyard
Family participation in the garden
Visit every park in a 10 mile radius this Summer (one has a splash pad!)
Take the kids fishing
Do all the fun stuff for kids during Provo's Freedom Festival (yay July 4th!)
Go to the Stadium of Fire (tickets already purchased)
Hang out at the library
Eat our body weight in Popsicles, and various assorted frozen treats
There has to be some fun things others have planned for Summer vacation this year. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I like being the fun mom.

Preschool Party for Ben
Today was Ben's preschool party--the last day of class! Ben doesn't know how much he is going to miss riding on the bus for the whole summer. But no worry, he'll return for his last year of preschool in the fall, but for only 2 days a week. I just can't get over how adorable he is, and how big he's growing!

Kindergarten Nature Walk
I had a lot of fun going on a nature walk with Sylvia's Kindergarten class last week. We made nature bracelets, looked at our surroundings with magnifying glasses, and even found a few souvenirs (cool looking rocks) to take home with us. After awhile, we sat and had a snack, and the kids played on a nearby playground. I love helping in Sylvia's class!
