All Aboard!

We took the kids up to Heber today to see Thomas the Tank Engine. What a madhouse! Ben was in heaven, and Sylvia had a really good time as well. We got train tattoos, played with trains, colored and stamped pictures, met Sir Topham Hatt, and even got to ride with Thomas. Afterwards, Dad took us to the Dairy Keen in Heber, and we got milkshakes. Dairy Keen has a fun train that circles the ceiling, and just for the occasion, it was equipped with Thomas as the engine. I think we made Ben's life today!

Spring Piano Recital

This year, Amy had her Spring Piano Recital up at Bob and Penny's house, which was a lot of fun. The students got to play on the Steinway, which is worth more than their lives!!! (j/k) Sylvia performed three pieces, and she did very well. Mostly, she was just excited to have an excuse to wear a fancy dress! Ben got bored pretty quickly (surprise), so thank heaven for cousin Ryan and his friend. They took Ben for a little nature walk so Nate and I could watch Sylvia, and take pictures and video. Sylvia has made a lot of progress on piano this year. We're excited, and we hope that she'll continue to enjoy playing in the future.

Professional Dance Pics

I can't say enough how much I love these pics. Sylvia's dance studio, Esprit de Corps, used a different photographer this year, and the results were sooooo much better than last year. And, I was able to buy a CD of the whole set of pics, so I can make as many prints of whichever pictures I like best. These pics totally captured Sylvia's personality. I love 'em!

Tiny Dancer

Sylvia performed in her dance recital this evening, and she rocked the house! I am always so proud of how awesome she is. She works so hard at dance, and she has learned a lot from her teacher this year. She did the cutest dances to "Hot Hot Hot" and "On The Good Ship Lollipop." Her professional dance pics turned out super cute, so as soon as I get them, I'll post a few.

Feeding the Ducks, Other Cuteness

For family night, we took the kids to feed the ducks at the ponds by Valtec in West Springville. But, we ended up really feeding the carp. The carp in the ponds are huge, and they steal all the food from the ducks. So funny! Then, we took a scenic drive up Hobble Creek Canyon. We got this cute shot of the kids by a fence by Jolley's Ranch. Maybe we'll try soon to get a family picture up there, when we all look cute.
